LARNACA – 27th January 2023
Holocaust Remembrance Day was commemorated today by the Jewish Museum of Cyprus in a solemn event that welcomed local dignitaries and foreign ambassadors.
Chief Rabbi of Cyprus, Rabbi Arie Zeev Raskin, recited and prayer and welcomed each participant to light a candle to honour the 11 million souls lost.
The event took place in Larnaca at 11am and marked the 78th year of the liberation.
